I’m a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with people from many different walks of life, including first responders, individuals connected with the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB), and participants in court-mandated programs for men.
One of my areas of passion and specialization is supporting people through bereavement, grief, and loss. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I support clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, burnout, post traumatic stress, life transitions, and challenges with communication. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My style is collaborative and tailored to each person’s needs. I draw from various approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and strengths-based practice to find what works best for you and your unique journey. I value the uniqueness of every person I work with, and I take care to consider each client’s background, culture, and life experiences when tailoring our work together.
I believe that even in life’s most difficult moments, there is potential for healing, growth, and new possibilities. Challenges can reveal strengths we may not yet see, and I strive to walk alongside my clients as they uncover resilience, build hope, and move toward meaningful change.
I offer counselling in both English and Punjabi.
